How to read
- asked_402 - Attention, not intent. Every 402 we served on a paid /api/v1/* door to a caller outside our own egress, incl. indexers, monitors and crawlers. Never read as demand on its own.
- settled - The only hard signal. A settle = request carrying Payment-Signature/X-Payment answered 200 on a paid door. Zero in this window.
- unique_ips - Count only. Raw IPs are never published.
- conversion - settled / asked_402. Descriptive, ASSOCIATED_WITH only.

Caveats
- SAMPLE built from the 10-06 walkaway table; it is ~2 days stale vs generated_at.
- Window is ~6.3d (Caddy retention), not a full 7d.
- Own-team residual: jmm-desk/0.1 (UA points at openclawproductions.com) was counted as outside in the source (55 x 402 from 5 IPs). Totals here also show the figure with it removed; per-door removal is a lower bound.
- About 91% of these 18,839 asks came from generic HTTP clients (79 of 1,196 IPs); none settled. The figure excludes known census traffic and callers that hit 200+ doors.
- unique_ips per door and asked_non_census per door are null: not in source.
- price_usd is null: price is not in the walkaway source; price_usd_ref is today's wk.json price, not proven for the window.
- settled = 0 is from the source's settle rule (payment header + HTTP 200). Not cross-checked on-chain for this sample.
- The one outside caller that sent payment headers (StillOS-payability-census UA, 12 requests) still got 402; identified by UA only, no raw IPs are emitted in this JSON.
- Small n: 0 settles in 63,904 asks gives no basis to compare doors on conversion.
